Epistemic Quality Audit
Score the reasoning in any business document, claim by claim.
The Epistemic Quality Audit (EQA) reads a strategy memo, board deck, PRD or filing, extracts every consequential claim, and scores how well each one is actually known — then maps the whole document onto the Circle of Knowledge.

What it does
EQA extracts 8–30 epistemic claims from a document, scores them across 10 domains and the 5 Circle of Knowledge zones, detects 6 recurring distortion types (overconfidence, hindsight, motivated reasoning and more), and renders the result as an interactive SVG circle. You get an executive summary, the strengths and risks, the highest-materiality claims, and a prioritized list of next actions.
Key features
Claim-by-claim scoring
Every consequential claim is isolated and scored across 10 epistemic domains, so you see exactly where confidence outruns evidence.
Circle of Knowledge map
Claims are placed in the 5 zones — from what you know you know to unknown unknowns — as an interactive visual you can share.
Distortion detection
Six distortion types are flagged where they appear, with the exact snippet that triggered the flag.
Optional per-claim sourcing
CVAI Pro can research each claim against live sources so the audit is grounded in citations, not just structure.
What you give it
- Pasted document text (strategy memo, PRD, board memo, investment thesis, 10-K/10-Q, and more)
- A URL to audit (web app, extension and chat surfaces)
- PDFs and images in Slack and Discord (OCR + image vision)
What you get back
- Executive summary with strengths, risks and top distortions
- Interactive Circle of Knowledge SVG
- Prioritized next actions and a shareable report (JSON, PDF, SVG)
Pay per run with a quick, standard or deep depth; CVAI Pro adds bundled usage, per-claim sourcing and a 20% usage discount.
